An Epcot Legacy
Today’s post comes from a wonderful sunset at Epcot!
This photo came from a night where it didn’t look like there was going to be any good sunset colors at all, and then all of a sudden, the sky exploded with crazy colors. I had my camera attached to the tripod, and I ran through the Spaceship Earth plaza trying to get as many photos as I could of this great opportunity. This one was one that I wasn’t overly keen on at first, since I really am not a fan of the Leave a Legacy stones. But after going ahead and doing some editing on the image, I think they help anchor the composition, and add some interesting contrast to the image. Would I love to see them go in favor of the old EPCOT Center entrance plaza? Absolutely. But, for now, we must work with what we have.
Three shots, blended together and then adjust in both Lightroom and Nik Color Efex Pro 4. This was taken with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens, both of which are available at Amazon.
