Blue Hour Spaceship Earth

By Cory Disbrow on July 19th, 2012   |    Posted in:  Daily Disney Photo   |    Comments Off

Hey everybody! Today’s Daily Disney Photo is one of Spaceship Earth at Epcot.

When I was heading to the exit of the park the other night, I noticed there was a beautiful blue hour occurring. I snapped a few shots of the fountains at Journey into Imagination, and then made my way over to Spaceship Earth. Compositionally, I decided to use the building on the bottom right as a leading line into Spaceship Earth. It also worked to not put Spaceship Earth directly in the center of the frame, as I feel that would have made things feel a little weird, especially since I was shooting with a lens that would not allow for the entire sphere to be in the frame.

This was shot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II along with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, and was edited completely in Adobe Lightroom 4.

Thanks for looking, and have a great day!!
