This week, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train officially opened at the Magic Kingdom after almost 3 years of construction. It opened to nice long waits, but what seemed like some pretty satisfied guests. I was lucky enough to be there opening day (which was a gorgeous day) to ride the attraction and take some photos. […]
Post Archive: Disney Photo Spotlight
This weekend marked the start of Star Wars Weekends over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, two weeks earlier than usual. I headed over to the park to snap a few shots of the characters around the park, as well as the Legends of the Force motorcade that they do every weekend. Enjoy! Hope you all enjoyed […]
Howdy folks. It’s been a while since I visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so I decided to spend a few hours there over the weekend. I don’t know why, but I always forget how much I love the park until I visit. I don’t visit very often, but when I do, I get reminded of all […]
As some of you may know, the Magic Kingdom debuted a new daytime parade on March 9th. I got the opportunity to check it out yesterday, and of course, take some photos. While I’m not a huge parade person, new things are always nice to see, and this parade is definitely an improvement on what […]
As some of you may know, the 2014 Flower and Garden Festival starts today at Epcot! It’s my favorite time of year to photograph the park, and I went over yesterday for a ‘soft opening’ of sorts. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. The Muppets are seen in topiary form for […]
On my most recent Walt Disney World trip, I spent a day at Hollywood Studios with Cory photographing the park. We didn’t realize it at the time, but it happened to be the same day that the Dapper Day event was being held. If you are not familiar with Dapper Day, it is a fan organized event that is held twice a year at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The people attending the event show up dressed in their most stylish outfits and enjoy the park together. As someone who is interested in photographing the parks and enjoy human element type photography, it makes for some great photo opportunities. It seemed to be a great fit for Hollywood Studios since their outfits went perfect with the 1930′s theme of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard.
