Walt Disney World Photo a Day App

Cinderella Castle at Twilight

Today’s Daily Disney Photo was taken at twilight after a rainstorm this past weekend at the Magic Kingdom. I was hanging out with contributor to the site Brett Kiger and also about to meet up with Larry White, who has also contributed to the site. We had a fun night, and when passing by this scene, neither one of us could resist grabbing a shot.

Does this classic shot ever get old? I don’t think so, especially since we all have multiple versions of it in our collection. There is something about this spot that makes anybody want to stop and take a photo. Next week we will show you what it looks like to photograph Wishes from this same location!

Technical Details

This shot was taken with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens.

  • Focal Length: 17mm
  • Aperture: f/7.1
  • Shutter Speed: 1/10
  • ISO: 400

Nice meeting you and Sam, Cory! We had a great time and look forward to spending more time with you guys in the parks. Hope I didn’t bore you guys too much while shooting Dumbo, but that new lighting is just amazing! :)
