Hello, and welcome to a fresh week of content here at Disney Photography Blog! For today’s post, I thought we could join in with the Flickr crowd and celebrate Monorail Monday. For those that checked out the site this weekend and read our first installment of the DPB Weekly Photography Roundup, you read about flickr user DugJax. Doug started a tradition on flickr called Monorail Monday, each Monday members of the Disney photography community on flickr will post a monorail photo from a Disney park.

For many Disney fans, the monorail is a favorite form of transportation when visiting Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort. Whether using it to get to the Magic Kingdom, riding it as an attraction that traverses almost the entire resort at Disneyland, or enjoying the majestic views of Epcot from it, the monorail has a special place in all of our hearts.

We thought it would be fun to start the week off with our own version of Monorail Monday here on the Disney Photography Blog. To do so, here is a selection of monorail photos from Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Enjoy these photos of the “Highway in the Sky” and post your own monorail photo in our Disney Photography Forum or by adding them to our group on flickr.
