Hello readers! On this date 39 years ago, Walt Disney World opened its doors. Since then, it has captured the imagination of millions of guests. And many of us, well let’s face it, all of us who read Disney blogs, listen to podcasts, buy the Unofficial Guide, and do all the other geeky Disney things, have fallen in love and developed a passion for this wonderful place since October 1, 1971. And so, to celebrate today’s birthday, I figured I would post some of my favorite fireworks shots. Disney’s fireworks shows are about as celebratory as it gets, right?

Thanks for reading, and see ya real soon!!

Heck yeah! Happy birthday WDW as a whole, and EPCOT and MK individually, too! Great celebratory shots!

    Happy Birthday!

And WOW, that last fireworks shot is a doozy! The foreground just shows what a spectacle the fireworks at MK can be. Heading to WDW next week, hope to come home with some great shots thanks to the tips I’ve gotten here.
