Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party eBook

Today we get to announce our newest (and biggest) eBook from Disney Photography Blog.

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of the most popular events held at Walt Disney World Resort. Throughout September and October, the Magic Kingdom is transformed on select nights to celebrate Halloween. This party includes one of the best parades and fireworks shows that Disney has created along with many other unique photo opportunities. There is so much to see and photograph in the few hours you are attending the party that it can be overwhelming.

We have created a new eBook that will not only give you tips on photographing the party but we include over 200 photos that we have taken ourselves. Between the characters appearing in their Halloween costumes, the headless horseman riding down Main Street, U.S.A. prior to the parade, the Haunted Mansion spook who welcomes you to the attraction and the fantastic lighting that can be found on Main Street, there is more to photograph in this one night than you probably realized.

Two books in one

We had talked about doing a simple photo guide and also had the idea of a large photo album, the result ended up being both ideas in one book. The eBook starts with different chapters on each of the different photo opportunities at the party (decorations, parade, fireworks and characters). Included in each chapter are photos to go along with the text.Once you are done reading the book, we then include a photo album of even more photos. In total, this eBook contains over 200 photos from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort.

Even if you are not planning on attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you will still enjoy this book for all the great photos (many of which we have not published anywhere before).

Thanks, Chris! We are really glad you enjoy it.

We think this is our best eBook to date and are excited to hear what others think of it also. It has given us a number of ideas for future books.

I can’t believe I just found your blog/podcast! Where have you been the past 8 months!! =) Just bought the fireworks and MNSSP ebooks!!
I’m coming equipped with my D700 / Nikon 50mm 1.4 / Sigma 17-35 2.8-4 / Nikon 55-200 4-5.6 (just in case lens) I want to rent something and am torn between an 85mm 1.8 or 24-70 2.8…which would you recommend or something different entirely?
I’m not panicked over any other part of this trip, but this is killing me! Ha!
