New Photos from the Cars Wing at Art of Animation Resort

Hey guys! Over at the Art of Animation Resort, the Cars wing opened yesterday (6/18). I headed over to check it out, and to take a few photos as well. So here are a few of the shots that I came away with!

Here’s Ramone and the Cozy Cone Motel:

Overall, this new wing was pretty fun to shoot. I found it much more enjoyable, and certainly much more photogenic than the Finding Nemo section that opened first. There is lots of color at this resort, which always helps make for great photos. I’m excited for the next phase, which is the Lion King wing, as The Lion King is my favorite animated Disney film. For those curious, these shots were all taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon EOS 7D with either the Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens or the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG lens. If you want to see more photos of this area, make sure to check out my other column, Dateline Disney World this Friday at! Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Great pictures; I am so jealous and hope to be able to take as many good photos.

On a side note, I believe it is The Hudson Hornet, not The Hudson Horney :-)

Awesome shots! Really thinking about staying there on our next WDW trip.

Looks great, Cory. What you need is a couple of kids running past the sheriff in a blur.
