It is not uncommon to walk through a Disney park and see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy or your other favorite character. It does take you by surprise though the first time you see them drawn on the sidewalk using water. Chances are you have seen these water drawings before and you know how cool they are. Really, who doesn’t like sidewalk art created using water!
I happened to come across to cast members at Hollywood Studios who were in the middle of creating their own art for guests to enjoy. Check out this series of photos that I took of these two cast members and enjoy the finished drawings at the end. I think you will be able to tell which of the two has the real talent!

Also, be sure to check out this great photo on flickr posted by Scott Smith. Scott is known in the Disney photography community for his Human Element photos and has contributed to Disney Photography Blog in the past.

First saw traces if the water art in ’11 than ran into a friend of my son who was interning at WDW in the maintenance department. You can take the class in broom art after you push the broom for six months.
Just one more reason to look down from time to time.
