Today’s photo comes from a very wet Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom. I’m not always in the parks on days like this. Being a local, you tend to look out the window and judge whether or not it’s a good day to visit. But, since I write Dateline Disney World for MiceChat, there […]

Today’s shot comes from my archives, and is of a lovely sunset at the Magic Kingdom. This shot is one of those classic WDW shots. The Crystal Palace has been around since day one, and besides the Winnie the Pooh injection on the inside, it remains very similar to what it was like back then. […]

Today’s photo comes from right after Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. I love seeing Disney photos that tell a story. Today’s photo comes from a beautiful morning on Main Street USA. To be able to get this shot, I had to be able to get to, and get into the Magic Kingdom nice and early. This week, the parks are still in Spring Break mode, making this one possible. The day I went, the Magic […]

Today’s photo comes from Town Square at Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. I chose this post for a few reasons. The first one is that of forced perspective. Forced perspective is something that Disney employs in many of its theme parks to create illusions in terms of size and scale. For example, here […]

Hopefully you all enjoyed the Super Bowl last night. Well, we know Ryan is a little sad, but hopefully today’s image will cheer up all the San Francisco fans.

I love all the little details on Main Street USA. I think they are severely under appreciated, and for the most part, unnoticed. Between the statues, the names on the windows, and other things, it really is great.

This image is also appropriate for today, as now that football is done, we can look forward to Spring Training and the upcoming MLB season. Whether you’re a Yankees fan like me, a Giants fan like Ryan, or a Red Sox fan like Adam, seeing this image and knowing the season is approaching is exciting!
